IT/AV Engineer (Singapore)
 

Responsibilities
 

• To set up and test installed system / equipment in various locations.

• To carry out routine testing of equipment to diagnose, log and report operational faults.

• Working with Systems Engineers to assist in the diagnosis and rectification of faults to ensure that all systems are fully functional and that equipment and system down time are kept to a minimum.

• Terminate all audio, video and control connections according to drawings including soldering, terminal strip landing and crimping.

• Ability to read and check technical drawings and schematics.

• To ensure all paperwork is completed on time and filled out completely, as required.

• To ensure that a daily logbook is kept up to date with customer requests, work performed each day, job numbers, dates and times and tasks assigned.

• To assist with IT related duties. (Will be assisted and guided by our IT Engineers).

Educational Requirements
 

•  Minimally NITEC qualifications or equivalent.

• Skills and Abilities:

• Good IT technical knowledge

• Good troubleshooting and problem solving skills.

• Knowledge in basic networking and server administration.

• Well-versed in Windows XP, Vista, 7 and Apple OSX.

• Any OS language such as Linux will be added advantage.

• Compulsory knowledge and troubleshooting skills on AV products such as Extron, Creston, Kramer, AMX.

• Compulsory knowledge and troubleshooting skills on VC products such as Polycom, CISCO Tandberg.

• Any added related certifications will be an advantage.
