For COLCOM, the event was more than an industry exhibition; it was an opportunity for the team to come together, connect with partners and customers, explore emerging technologies, and experience the evolving possibilities of the professional AV industry.

Held from September 16–18, 2026, the event saw participation from the wider COLCOM and ESCO Group team, including senior leadership who travelled to India especially for InfoComm India. Sujith Sivaram, Managing Director, ESCO Group, and Chris P, CTO, ESCO Group, joined the team during the event, making it an important occasion for the group to come together as one team and reinforce its presence within the Indian AV ecosystem.

From partner engagements and customer conversations to industry panels, expert interactions, and award recognition, the three-day event was packed with opportunities to connect, learn, collaborate, and look ahead.

Day One: Coming Together and Exploring InfoComm India

The first day, September 16, began with the COLCOM team coming together for a group photograph before attending the official opening of InfoComm India 2026.

Following the opening, the team headed into the exhibition floor, where members divided into smaller groups to explore the wide range of technologies and solutions on display.

With a number of partner booth visits and group meeting slots scheduled across all three days, the team had a structured opportunity to connect with technology partners, explore new products and understand the latest developments across the professional AV landscape.

Day One included visits to several partner booths, including Xtreme Media, Neat, Biamp, Xilica, and other technology partners. These interactions gave the team an opportunity to engage directly with technology specialists, understand new solutions, and discuss how emerging technologies could address changing customer requirements.

A Proud Moment at the SIIA Awards

September 16 also brought an important achievement for COLCOM, with the team receiving recognition at the SIIA Awards 2026.

For the COLCOM team, the award added a special moment to an already eventful first day at InfoComm India.

Industry Leadership Takes Centre Stage

InfoComm India was also an opportunity for leaders from the ESCO Group and COLCOM to contribute to important conversations taking place across the AV industry.

On September 16, Sujith Sivaram, Managing Director, ESCO Group, participated in the panel discussion “How 5G and IoT Are Transforming Connected AV Experiences” at the InfoComm Smart Tech Stage.

The session explored the growing intersection of connectivity, IoT and professional AV, and how these technologies are contributing to increasingly connected and intelligent experiences.

The following day, September 17, Soheb Siddiqui, Executive Director, and Chris Pitsillides, CTO, participated in the panel discussion “The New Content Stack: How AV, IT and Cloud Are Transforming Delivery”.

The discussion looked at the evolving relationship between AV, IT and cloud technologies and how this convergence is influencing content creation, management and delivery.

The final day, September 18, saw Sujith Sivaram return to the stage for a Fireside Chat titled “Beyond Surround Sound: Designing Immersive Audio Experiences”. The session focused on the evolution of audio experiences and the growing role of immersive audio in creating engaging and memorable environments.

Together, these sessions reflected the breadth of conversations taking place across the AV industry—from 5G and IoT to AV, IT and cloud convergence, and the evolution of immersive audio experiences.

For COLCOM and ESCO Group, participating in these discussions was an opportunity to share perspectives, exchange ideas with fellow industry professionals, and contribute to conversations around the technologies and experiences shaping the future of AV.

Day Two: Partner Engagement, Customer Conversations and Networking

The second day began with another team gathering, with the COLCOM team meeting to begin the day's schedule.

Day Two was filled with partner visits, customer meetings, and networking opportunities. The team continued its scheduled booth visits, engaging with several technology partners including Jabra, Shure, Kramer, and Crestron, among others.

Each partner interaction brought a different perspective on the rapidly evolving AV ecosystem. From audio and collaboration technologies to control, connectivity, and integrated AV solutions, the team explored a wide range of technologies and discussed their potential applications across customer environments.

The exhibition also created an opportunity for COLCOM team members to meet with numerous customers and industry professionals. Conversations extended beyond existing projects to upcoming requirements, new opportunities, and ways in which COLCOM could support customers with their future AV initiatives and events.

An Evening with Customers

The day continued beyond the exhibition floor with an exclusive customer evening.

The event brought customers together for an informal dinner and networking experience, providing a relaxed environment for meaningful conversations outside the exhibition setting.

The evening allowed the team to strengthen relationships, understand customer priorities more closely, and explore potential opportunities for future collaboration.

Discussions also touched upon upcoming events, technology requirements, and how COLCOM could support customers in developing effective AV experiences.

Day Three: New Technologies, New Conversations

The third and final day of InfoComm India was shorter, but the team continued to make the most of the exhibition.

With several partner booths and technology solutions still to explore, the COLCOM team used the final day to visit areas that had not been covered during the first two days.

COLCOM was also among the organisations with a presence on Day Three, adding another dimension to the technology conversations taking place during the event.

Across the final day, team members continued to explore new technologies, engage with partners and exchange ideas with industry professionals.

For COLCOM, the three days represented an opportunity not only to see new products, but also to understand the larger technology trends influencing the AV industry, from intelligent systems and connectivity to collaboration, cloud, networking and integrated experiences.

Connecting with AV Industry Experts

One of the key highlights of the InfoComm India week was the opportunity to interact with a wide range of AV industry experts, technology specialists and professionals.

Throughout the event, the COLCOM team engaged in conversations around emerging technologies, industry trends, customer expectations and the changing role of AV across different environments.

These conversations offered valuable perspectives beyond product demonstrations and exhibition displays. They helped the team understand how industry leaders are looking at the future and what developments could shape AV solutions in the years ahead.

COLCOM also captured conversations and interviews with several industry experts during the week. These discussions will bring a range of perspectives from the AV community directly to the COLCOM audience.

A series of these expert conversations and videos will be released soon across COLCOM's digital channels. Stay tuned for insights and perspectives from the AV leaders and experts we connected with at InfoComm India 2026.

More Than an Exhibition

For COLCOM, InfoComm India 2026 was not simply about walking through an exhibition or attending product demonstrations. It was about people, partnerships, knowledge and possibilities.

New technologies, intelligent solutions, AI-driven capabilities, automation, networking, cloud platforms and integrated AV ecosystems are transforming how spaces are designed, deployed and experienced.

For a system integrator such as COLCOM, staying connected to these developments is essential, not only to understand what is available in the market, but also to translate these technologies into meaningful solutions for customers.

Celebrating People, Partnerships and Progress

The InfoComm India 2026 week brought together several important aspects of COLCOM's journey: teamwork, partnerships, customer relationships, technology, industry knowledge and project excellence.

The presence of ESCO Group leadership, the participation of the wider COLCOM team, engagement with technology partners, customer networking, industry panel discussions, and recognition at the CSI Awards all contributed to making the event a memorable one.

Most importantly, InfoComm India gave the team an opportunity to experience the industry together—to learn from partners, listen to customers, exchange ideas with experts and discover what comes next for AV.

As the exhibition came to a close, the COLCOM team left with more than photographs and product brochures. The three days brought new conversations, fresh ideas, stronger relationships, valuable industry insights and a deeper understanding of the technologies shaping the future of AV.
