Crestron NVX comes re-new for this 2021 with a wide range of encoders and decoders with different features to make it an all-terrain streaming system.
Firstly, we have the DM-NVX-E30 and DM-NVX-D30 HDMI encoder and decoder which allow us to encode any HDMI source device and decode to a HDMI display/Device. Also, there is the new DM-NVX-E76 encoder where instead of HDMI input, we use a HDBaseT input.
Secondly, we have the DM-NVX-351 which is an encoder with 2 HDMI inputs and hence can be used as a switcher as well. This particular model can act as an Encoder or Decoder but only one at the time and also allow support for Surround Audio down-mix. On the other hand, we also have the DM-NVX-360 and the DM-NVX-363; both also able to act as encoder and decoder, both with single HDMI input and the 363 is able to do Surround Audio Down-mix and also support Dante (Audio Network) when the 360 does not.
With the above, we can have many different combinations depending on your needs. On top of that, all these models are able to do USB network routing, this means that we can connect USB peripherals to Computers via Network. For example we should be able to use the Keyboard and mouse in a meeting room and contact with a remote PC on a server room. All these models do support AES67 Network Audio Standard. What this means is that we can send audio as well via network to communicate with a AES67 compatible DSP or other audio device. Also, they are built-in controller for what we are able to control sources and display devices as well.
In terms of Video quality, they are able to support 4K video resolution at 60Hz, HDR video and color sampling up to 4:4:4.
The NVX system can be controlled via software from a single remote location, and with software support for deployment making deployment and system configuration faster.
